Unusual Trees

The 1st topic in my blog today will be discussing on the unusual trees around the world.
"A tree is a wonderful living organism which gives shelter, food, warmth, and protection to all living things. It even gives to those who wield an axe to cut it down" - Buddha.
Trees have been such a wonderful things in earth. There have many kinds of trees with different kinds of appereance. Let me show you some of the wierd and magnificent trees in the world.
The Tree Circus
Axel Erlandson who was a farmer opened a tourist attraction place namely 'The Tree Circus'. There are a few kinds of magnificent trees that he had planted. Erandson trees have before appeared in the Ridley Believe It or Not! for a number of times. Belows shown some of the trees from the 'The Tree Circus'.

The Tree Circus

One of the tree from 'The Tree Circus' is called the 'Basket Trees' which is shown above. In order to plant this tree, Erlandson planted six sycamore trees in a circle, topped all in one foot, then approach-grafted them together one of the most another to form the diamond patterns. For the first 2.5 meters (8') he left an opening at the top.
The trees above which looks like a ladder are namely the 'Ladder Tree'.
'Cube Tree'.
'Four Legged Giant Tree'.
Giant Sequoias
'Giant Sequoias' was one of the largest trees in the world in terms of volume. It only grows in Sierra Nevada, California. The tallest trees ever recorded was measured to be 94.8m (311 feet) in height and 6-8m (18-24ft) in diameter. The age of the tree are found based on the ring count of the trees. The oldest Giant Sequoias have lived up to 3,500 years. A picture of the 'Giant Sequioas' are shown below:
Chapel-Oak of Allouville-Bellefosse
The 'Chapel-Oak of Allouville-Bellefosse' is one of a famous trees in France. It is just not a tree and it function as a building as well as a religious monument. A picture of the 'Chapel-Oak of Allouville-Bellefosse' are shown below:
The Tule Tree
The 'Tule Tree' is an large Montezuma cypress (Taxodium mucronatum) near the city of Oaxaca, Mexico. This tree has the largest trunk girth at 190 feet (58 m) and trunk diameter at 37 feet (11.3 m). The 'Tule tree' is so thick that people say you don’t hug this tree, it hugs you instead! Local legends say that you can make out animals like jaguars and elephants in the trunk, giving the tree the nickname of "the Tree of Life". Some of the tule trees picture are shown below:
Baobab
'Baobab' also can be known as 'Monkey Bread Tree', Upside-Down Tree or Bottle Tree can grow up to 5-30m (16-98ft) in height and trunk diameter of 7 to 11m(23-36ft). The largest Baobab alive in the world are located at Limpopo province, South Africa having a 50m(160ft) in height and 15m(49ft) in diameter. Some baobabs are reputed to be many thousands of years old, which is difficult to verify as the wood does not have growth rings. Using the Radiocarbon dating method the age of the 'Baobob' can be found. Some of the 'Baobob' picture are shown below:
The 'Banyan tree' is named after "banians" or Hindu traders who carry out their business under the tree. It has a majestic canopy with aerial roots running from the branches to the ground. Some pictures of Banyan Tree are shown below:
